Couples in crisis need specific types of support. You may be in any of these situations:
Recent Betrayal
Betrayals include a newly discovered affair, or the recent discovery of hidden financial issues or addictions, like a relapse of alcohol, drug, or gambling use. Newly disclosed betrayals disorient the relationship so intensely that crisis care is warranted.
Considering Separation or Divorce
I can support your decision making process through something called discernment counseling. This type of care guides the couple through specific exercises that support clarity and decision making about the future of the relationship.
Commitment Differences
If one spouse is less committed than the other, or is ambivalent about the future of the relationship, I can work with this imbalance in specific ways, to support clear decision making about the best path forward.
Divorcing or Co-parenting
If you have already decided to divorce and want specific support for a peaceful process and growth of a health co-parenting relationship, I can help.
Relationship Clarity Sessions
A series of sessions specifically targeted to your decision making process. Couples will be guided through a series of exercises to bring about a decision to either separate, or commit to a couples therapy process to bring about the relationship you want. Jeanne will contain these sessions to decision-making topics only. If the couple decides to enter couples therapy as a result of the work, then session goals will shift. Decision usually reached within four sessions.
Crisis Intervention Intensive Session
Couples in crisis (distress reaching 7-8 or higher on a scale from 1-10) may benefit from an intensive session of 2-6 hours. I will support you through painful conversations and assist with a crisis survival plan. I am skilled and unafraid, I will be your guide through this time. Please reach out by email to find out what intensive scheduling is available and recommended. Intensive session fees are:
2 Hour Session - $350
4 Hour Session - $650
Longer session fees will be quoted at inquiry. Half of session fee is due at time of scheduling, and the second half is due at session.
